Latvia chooses their final 4!

Latvia has had a short but sweet journey to choose their 2017 Eurovision act, with the two heats taking place over the last two weeks, and then last night, the semi-final took place with the 8 qualifiers from the heats. With a collection of great songs, it was a difficult choice, however Latvia has spoken.

As per the format of the previous shows, the public send through two qualifiers, and the jury sends through two. Here are the 8 semi-finalists:

  • Linda Leen – Who is in Charge

  • The Ludvig – I’m in Love With You

  • Franco Franco – Up

  • Santa Daņeļeviča – Your Breath

  • Lauris Valters – Magic Years

  • Triana Park – Line

  • Miks Dukurs – Spiritual Priest

  • My Radiant You – All I Know

The two public vote qualifiers were:

This means that these four acts will be heading into the Supernova final which will take place next Sunday evening. The song with the highest amount of public votes will be declared the winner, and will then go to Eurovision in Kyiv to represent Latvia!
